By creating an account on The Crest (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
The Crest is an AI‑powered platform that helps professionals build public profiles optimised for search. It offers Free, Pro and Elite subscription plans with different features. While our tools are designed to improve your visibility, we do not guarantee specific rankings or outcomes in any search engine, AI answer or promotion.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You may be asked to verify your identity to maintain trust and safety on the platform.
Payment and Subscription Plans
The Service offers optional paid subscriptions. Fees are processed by third‑party payment providers and are non‑refundable unless required by law. Subscriptions auto‑renew unless cancelled:
- Free Plan: Basic profile creation and limited analytics at no charge.
- Pro Plan: $49 per month or $490 per year. Adds enhanced analytics, a custom domain, removal of third‑party ads and email support.
- Elite Plan: $3,490 per year. Includes all Pro features plus a dedicated account manager, custom SEO strategy, priority support, quarterly strategy sessions and a service level agreement.
Pricing may change with 30 days’ notice. There is no promise that purchasing a plan will guarantee particular results or rankings.
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you post but grant The Crest a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to display and distribute it in connection with operating and marketing the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate and does not infringe any third‑party rights, violate laws or misrepresent your qualifications.
Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- Upload content that is unlawful, offensive or defamatory.
- Scrape, reverse engineer or attempt to access our source code.
- Use the Service for spamming, phishing or other fraudulent activities.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
Intellectual Property
The Crest retains all rights to its trademarks, logos, software and intellectual property. You may not reproduce or use these without our prior written consent.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but any fees already paid are non‑refundable unless required by law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as‑is” and “as‑available” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our platform will improve your search rankings, visibility or professional outcomes. Your results may vary depending on factors beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Crest shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the previous twelve months.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Crest and its affiliates against any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes will be subject to mediation in Estonia before either party may initiate formal legal action.
Modifications
We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in‑app notifications. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
